ABSTRACT
The study was designed to survey the causes of poor language communication skills among students in some selected secondary school in Akinyele Local Government Area of Oyo State. From the population five schools were selected as sample consisting of one female secondary school and four mixed secondary school. A total of one hundred students were selected in all. A questionnaire was administered to the students for responses from them. Research questions were formulated to guide the direction of the study. The data collected were analyzed in tables side by side the research questions in chapter four. Chapter five presents findings, conclusion and recommendations.
